vionmo Hospitality Platform: Tracking GHG data in the tourism and leisure sector
On behalf of vionmo, a Vienna-based provider of B2B sustainability solutions for the tourism and leisure industry, we developed another stakeholder-specific version of the ESG-Portal—the vionmo Hospitality Platform (VHP) for carbon footprinting in the tourism and leisure sector.
Tourism businesses in German-speaking countries can now easily and efficiently analyze their sustainability performance. Tourism associations can aggregate anonymized data from their members to gain insights into regional developments.
Covers emissions from energy, mobility, and water, with refrigerants addressed as additional factor
The platform allows for the collection and evaluation of emissions-related data in areas such as energy consumption, mobility, laundry services, and refrigerants.
To maintain data integrity, uploading proof documents is also possible.
Information on the completion status—as familiar from the ESG-Cockpit, the core technology of the ESG-Portal solution—supports the data processing workflow.
Special evaluations, such as CO₂e per overnight stay, possible
Reports generated by the vionmo Hospitality Platform provide insights into CO₂e emissions categorized by Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (indirect emissions from purchased energy), and Scope 3 (other indirect emissions across the value chain).
A total evaluation can be carried out, but key figures such as kg CO₂e can also be calculated per hotel room, overnight stay, employee, or per square meter.
With visually appealing and clearly structured displays, the results can be quickly used for communication purposes.
