As a non-profit, market-oriented organization, myclimate supports companies and organizations in understanding and reducing emissions and in making sustainable decisions measurable. myclimate EcoCloud: Scalable solution for professional carbon management

myclimate and akaryon developed the myclimate EcoCloud, a carbon management platform based on the ESG Cockpit. It combines carbon management, project management, and collaboration on a single platform. This enables us to support companies more efficiently, improve data quality, and transparently and comprehensibly map targets, scenarios, and measures. It supports customers in systematically collecting, analyzing, and specifically improving environmental and climate data. At the same time, targets, scenarios, and measures can be mapped transparently and comprehensibly:

  • Carbon footprints for Scopes 1, 2, and 3 – analysis and plausibility checks of emissions data – collaboration with myclimate subject-matter experts to improve data quality
  • Reporting according to GHG Protocol, ESRS, GRI, and VSME
  • Definition and tracking of reduction and sustainability targets
  • Integration with existing systems (Excel imports/exports, APIs)


Why did you choose the ESG Cockpit?
Thanks to the flexible environment of the ESG Cockpit, we were able to translate our many years of expertise into a dedicated solution: the myclimate EcoCloud. Existing modules can be tailored to myclimate’s consulting activities and expanded to meet customer needs. We were particularly impressed by the modular architecture, the coverage of current and future sustainability topics, and the collaborative development approach with akaryon.

Since when have you been using the ESG Cockpit, and which modules are in use?
Following an intensive development phase in 2023 and 2024, the myclimate EcoCloud has been used for managing customer operations since autumn 2024. The modules currently in use are Climate Footprint (ESRS, GRI), Workflows, Measures & Scenarios, and APIs. They are continuously adapted and further developed to meet the needs of myclimate’s consulting activities (e.g. FLAG emissions).

Which future requirements should be addressed flexibly with the ESG Cockpit?
The myclimate EcoCloud is continuously developed and aligned with new market and regulatory requirements. Combining a stable standard solution with targeted enhancements ensures that the platform can be adapted to legal standards while remaining flexible enough to be expanded as needed. myclimate continues to invest in an intuitive user experience and a modern tool for effective carbon management.

Between 2023 and 2024, around 170 customers were migrated to the myclimate EcoCloud and two white-label solutions were implemented. For the 2025 reporting year, more than 1,000 users are already working with the platform across 1,684 individual sites. This enabled myclimate to offer companies of different sizes – including organizations in financial services, the food industry, and tourism – a scalable and high-performance carbon management solution within a short period of time.
