Sustainability has a long tradition here
The Climate and Energy Model Region (KEM) Ökoregion Kaindorf has built a strong reputation over decades for its commitment to sustainability. Now, akaryon has the opportunity to support the municipalities of the region in a special initiative: developing their own sustainability reports using the ESG-Cockpit.
Collaborating rather than working in isolation: A regional climate action approach
What makes this initiative particularly exciting is its regional approach. Rather than preparing reports individually, the municipalities document their achievements collectively, gaining a comprehensive view of regional progress. By analyzing the collected data together, they can identify opportunities and develop a shared vision for sustainable future planning.
Many perspectives, one process
The project actively involves a wide range of stakeholders – from municipal council members and mayors to administrative staff. At the same time, existing interfaces, such as energy management systems, are integrated directly, making use of data that is already available.
The kick-off meeting took place on 29 May at the offices of the KEM Ökoregion Kaindorf. More updates will follow – stay tuned!
