All-in-one solution for integrated reporting with XBRL tagging

We are excited about an intensified partnership: Together with mms solutions, akaryon GmbH now offers a complete solution for integrating sustainability data into annual reports – including XBRL tagging.

Integrating ESG data into PDF and web reports

mms solutions offers software solutions for creating tailored business reports:

  • ns.publish is an editorial system for reports in a classic layout (“PDF First”).
  • ns.wow specializes in interactive web report formats (“Online First”).

akaryon and mms solutions have been collaborating on a flexible basis for several years. The collaboration has now reached a new level:

ns.publish and ns.now integrate with the ESG-Cockpit, akaryon’s web-based software for sustainability reporting and management in line with international standards, including the new ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).

XBRL tags for reports in CSRD-compliant data format

The ESG Cockpit feeds sustainability data with the appropriate XBRL tags into ns.publish and ns.wow. With these tools by mms solutions, XBRL tags can also be added to other annual report data.

XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) is a standardized, globally used format for machine-readable and digital processing of reporting data. Until recently, it has been primarily significant in financial reporting. It is now also playing a key role in the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive).

In the context of ESEF (European Single Electronic Format), the CSRD requires that data reported in accordance with the ESRS includes XBRL tagging to ensure compatibility for electronic processing. This makes data more accessible and comparable in the ESAP (European Single Access Point).

Integrated reports generated using the combined solutions of ESG-Cockpit and ns.publish or ns.wow are fully aligned with these requirements.

mms solutions (formerly Multimedia Solutions) is part of the Neidhart + Schön Group, with branches in Germany and Switzerland.
